it's pretty good. has a nicely off-beat sensibility. also reminds me a little of DIbakar Banerjee's films (Khosla and Oye Lucky): full of not-glamorous working- and lower-middle class characters and locations.

all of the trio are insufferably hot

and no, i did not have a chance to appreciate the unusual non-rhyming lyrics in free verse, notable for blurring the line between poem and lyric. :( :( :(

(had to resort to the dailymotion copy for lyrics)

I loove the way Rekha starts off smiling at the letter ('How Sweet") and the transition in her facial expressions as he continues to read on   That movie (and that song in particular) broke my heart as a teenager and pretty much continue to inform my ideas on romantic relationships : |

Trio? I only see two people. Unless Naseeruddin Shah's mane counts. And it should. It's magnificent!

that movie is elevated SOOO much by rekha and farooq and most importantly, Khayyam. stop making me want to rewatch all of these or at least share what you are watching next so I can try and watch with.

Oscar-nomination-submission-worthy!
