A strange statement to make, seeing as these lethargic Scandinavians were at the centre of every goal that was scored. Ibrahimovic scored both of Barcelona's, Bendtner set up both of Arsenal's. So actually, without them it may have been 0-0.
Yet they both missed a host of chances, some of which were quite glaring.

A bit harsh. Ibrahimovic missed one big chance but you have to give credit to Almunia for the save, the other sitter he missed he was offside anyway. Bendtner had that one header where he perhaps could have done better, the other chance he had he was offside anyway.

Harsh, perhaps. Though should we be congratulating them for being offside so often? :P

For that one Bendtner chance, I'm not sure how he managed to wander into an offside position. He was looking along the line!

I want to watch that. It's practically an Argentine league match. Not sure how I'll manage to do so, though.

I find it funny how they have 5 officials on the pitch and still get it disastrously wrong on so many occasions. Oh, well.

Sub-par Liverpool tonight, outplayed for long-periods, thanks largely to the idiotic endeavours of one individual. Bring on Anfield, that away goal might make all the difference.

Ah, a comfortable 0-2 victory one week before El Clasico, neat. Higuaín and Ronaldo score, check. Gago and Mahmadou Diarra were brilliant and a huge part of the victory. Who will be Alonsos partner, Gago, Diarra or Lass ? It's a hard choice considering how well Gago has been playing lately. But the most important thing of all was seeing Marcelo so calm and good, it's important for him to gain some confidence before he goes face to face with Lionel.

Yes, I think he should be the one. Marcelo is a fast player and with some help from Alonso he can easily lock that left flank. Besides, Messi is always seeking a mid position just behind the penalty area nowdays. Should be interesting, Kaká and Benzema haven't played in a while, will they get to make an apperance? Will Pellegrini play Granero? I certainly hope not. He's been god awful for quite sometime.

The smell of freshly oiled leather. The sharp crack of a wood bat. The pitcher looking in across 17 inches of rubber for the signal. These are things both baseball and bondage fans cherish.

I feel like I should, but Scheyer did single-handedly win my high school a state title (and it would have been two if it wasn't for Derek Rose), so I have to root for them until after tonight.

As I said, Scheyer. I mean, he led our suburban public school with an all Jewish starting lineup to a state title. If we were any other race there'd already be a Disney Channel movie about my high school. Once he's gone I'll go back to not giving a rat's ass about Duke (I never hated them), but for now this is fantastic.

So, them depending so much on Messi may very well be the downfall this saturday. He scores 3? Well, Ronaldo and Pipita score 2 each.

I'm keeping it too simple, but you get my point.. Pipita y Ronaldo have scoared 42 goals together this season in La Liga.
