Speaking of world wars, anyone interested in 1917?
Absolutely, I think it looks great, and between it and Dunkirk, I think we're looking at a new renaissance for War movies (though hopefully without a resurgence of actual wars in real life, though).

I've been thinking the same thing :(
I've been taking to checking out The Good News Network lately, to remind me that there are good things still going on in this world.

It has to be an American thing, these war movies, so let's take a look at this so called renaissance since the year 2000... one American example per year

2000 - The Patriot
2001 - Black Hawk Down
2002 - We Were Soldiers
2003 - Cold Mountain
2004 - *woah, no American war movie*
2005 - Jarhead
2006 - Flags of Our Fathers
2007 - Atonement
2008 - The Hurt Locker
2009 - Inglourious Basterds
2010 - Green Zone (Best I could do)
2011 - War Horse
2012 - Zero Dark Thirty
2013 - Lone Survivor
2014 - American Sniper
2015 - Beasts of No Nation
2016 - Hacksaw Ridge
2017 - Dunkirk
2018 - Overlord (???)
2019 - 1917

Man, now that THE LIGHTHOUSE ended both content and Rocket League, there's literally nothing. This is the end, and the last words I saw were "A decade-plus and her clit/brown/taint-area still pOwns my dick."

I mean, no movie has physically wrenched my arguably toxic past time away from me in such fashion, there's nothing you could have done to prevent this. 10 minutes in and the power doesn't even go out, just enough of a flicker for my computer to reset, and boom Rocket League wont even start. Like, this is a drastic change in my life, and it's so specific... all of my other games work dammit.

Teasing can only make my anticipation greater! Especially considering they’ve given no hints on where they’re going with the season, possibly going the Curse of Darkness route? You got Issac & Hector & Trevor, those are three main ingredients.

Curse of Darkness is the logical route, I would assume that Trevor has Christopher with Sypha (is this what people call "shipping"?) leading to Adventure (which could be handled in an episode) + Belmont's Revenge which would be the bulk of the season. The Belmont's Revenge story is ripe for adaptation

Didn’t they fiddle with the canon a wee bit with the Metroidvania series and Juste from Harmony of Dissonance was their son? Either way S3 should hurry up so we can watch instead of speculating like nerds.

I got Rocket League "working". Weirdest shit, so, like, when I launch the game I have to hover my mouse over the icon in the task bar so the game window pops up and it's a crapshoot whether the game launches like that. Basically I'm just never going to close Rocket League :shifty:
