Jabba's Palace is pretty much my favourite part of anything Star Wars. Gangster slugs, sleazy tentacle dancers, weird ass vampire squid dude, BOBA FETT before the prequels made him a bitch, Leia's bikini, PIG PEOPLE, I love it.

Munro was a pro. She didn't need an acting coach to convincingly fake an attraction for a blonde lawn ornament of a man.

Late to the party, but my Star Wars rankings (updated after rewatching The Last Jedi yesterday):

Great tier:
The Empire Strikes Back
Star Wars

Good tier:
Return of the Jedi
The Last Jedi (Could surpass RotJ given a rewatch for that film)
The Force Awakens

Adequate tier:
Revenge of the Sith
Rogue One (slightly on the negative spectrum)

Bad tier:
Attack of the Clones
The Phantom Menace (these two are almost interchangeable)

Don't forget Joe Spinell and the robot with a southern accent. No Star War offers such pleasures.

Here's a belated list. I'm always down to rank some Star Wars.

1.) Return of the Jedi
2.) The Empire Strikes Back
3.) A New Hope
4.) Rogue One
5.) The Phantom Menace
6.) The Force Awakens
7.) Revenge of the Sith
8.) The Last Jedi
9.) Attack of the Clones

I know that Empire is an objectionably better film, but Return of the Jedi was my childhood, with the Jabba and Palpatine scenes being the very essence of what I'd consider Star Wars. I've also grown to admit that I have a soft spot for The Phantom Menace, and until I give the new film another go, Revenge of the Sith and The Last Jedi are interchangeable.

I'm pretty much in agreement, but I'd put Rogue One in the solid tier. Sure, the CGI Tarkin and Leia are distracting, Baze and Chirrut are underdeveloped, etc., but I was never bored and I don't feel that it took anything away from episode IV.

Hopefully non-thread derailing addendums:
-I really, really need to check out The Four Jamaicans.
-Despite my admiration for Ehrenreich and Glover, I'll probably skip the Han Solo origin story. For one, I need a breather from Star Wars, and if there were a panel about Han Solo's origins at a Star Wars convention, I'd probably skip it.

You'd probably like Inside Moves if you like Best Years. Not only is it another good story about recovery and adjusting to a new life, but it stars Harold Russell in a small role.

Best Picture nominees for 2017

1. Get Out
2. Phantom Thread
3. The Shape of Water
4. Dunkirk
5. The Post

Haven't seen the rest, but I do think this is a pretty stacked year, as I thought all five of these ranged from solid to excellent. Did the Academy goof by not including Coco? Sure, but to quote Some Like It Hot, you're barking up the wrong fish.
NOTE:
The above-written is wholly and solely the perspective of DaMU and should not be taken as an effort to rile, malign, or diminish you, dummo.

Cool list, Rumps. My current top 10 superhero films would probably look something like...

The Dark Knight
The Incredibles
Spider-Man 2
Logan
Black Panther
X2
Superman
Captain America: Civil War
Guardians Of The Galaxy
X-Men: Days Of Future Past

It's been a while since I've watched a few of these, but to my best knowledge, these are my favorites of the genre at the moment.
