Right this moment, Demon Days.
Maybe there is no Heaven. Or maybe this is all pure gibberish - a product of the demented imagination of a lazy drunken hillbilly with a heart full of hate who has found a way to live out where the real winds blow - to sleep late, have fun, get wild, drink whiskey, and drive fast on empty streets with nothing in mind except falling in love and not getting arrested. Res ipsa loquitur. Let the good times roll.

Anyone heard of Black Boned Angel? They're a New Zealand drone metal band.

Very good.

I've been on a 90's kick recently. I've been listening to Soundgarden and The Gits.

I enjoyed the Fanfarlo album.

I hope to see Amanda Palmer in April. I tried to buy a ticket at the venue today, but they told me I have to use the website. :/

I wouldn't go that far (Mezzanine best album eva!!2), but it's definitely better than the last one. Possibly Protection, too. I still think the opening stretch is a bit weak.

I was disappointed by it. Its got a couple good songs, but it didn't seem as inspired as Yoshimi or Soft Bulletin.

Man, I hate this album. :P The odd-couple pairing of Arctic Monkeys' rowdy vocals with swoony orchestrations comes across as really grating and schmaltzy to these ears.

I do love their artwork choices, though.

Actually, not really. There's something rather precious about Zooey's voice that I don't like, or at least, can't listen to over a whole album. I prefer M. by himself or in Monsters of Folk.

Heh, I love The Arctic Monkeys, though. In fact, I think The Age of Understatement>two of the Arctic Monkeys' albums I have heard. This artwork is rather radical-but I have no idea who that woman is.

Cool. And yes I can see how its very James Bond soundtrack sounding. One of the tracks (I can't remember which) is something that I would like to see featured in the end credits for a neo-noir.

The Mountain is a really good song. I was a little disappointed upon hearing their other stuff after being really digging this track.

Right now, I've been listening to this album a ton:

Has that distorted, shoe-gazing type sound that I have really grown to liking recently.
Don't you worry even if things end up a bit too heavy we'll all float on alright.

I should check out Madman Across the Water. My rankings of what I've heard:

1: Goodbye Yellow Brick Road
2: Captain Fantastic
3: Tumbleweed Connection
4: Honky Chateau
5: Elton John

I like all of those. A friend also recommended Don't Shoot The Piano Player.
