I hadn't noticed, but I assume there's like a million pages. I wish there were more individual topics, because it makes the conversations easier to track.

You can make threads yourself for what you want to talk about...

Welcome!

I just saw it last night. I'd like to say it was my favorite film of theirs I've seen so far, though I don't know how much that has to do with the rapturous nature of seeing it in a theater. Either way, I loved it. And yourself?

That's great to hear! I haven't seen it yet but i saw the trailer in front of A Separation earlier this year and it became one of my most anticipated. I'm hoping to catch it sometime this month.

Welcome, capthooks!

And yes, I have seen the new one - I thought it was quite good, though the friend I saw it with complained that the Dardennes don't stretch themselves enough.

He believes that testing oneself as a filmmaker, working outside one's comfort zone, is the only way to grow. What do you think?

It takes bombs. And don't they kinda stretch themselves with their latest? It's certainly a bit different in tone.
