I like the show though. I liked it a lot more in the beginning, when the nature of the island was still the biggest mystery. Now I've just sort of become immune to the shocks that once seemed so, well, shocking. The last season especially just seemed like too much.

I need more True Blood. I'm wasting away without it. My friend borrowed the first season in September and still hasn't given it back, and it's taking way too long for season 2 to come out on DVD and season 3 to premiere

My next TV venture will either be Six Feet Under or The Sopranos (I've seen season 1). And then Rome in the summer when I can rent the Blu-rays.

Its one of, if not my favorite dramas. Season 1 and 2 are perfection, it dips a bit after that, but brings it back with the amazing final season.

Yeah, I finished season 5 yesterday, but I don't know what to do: wait until season 6 ends (to see the whole thing without interrumptions) or see it weekly. Bte, how have the new episodes been?

Episode 1 (or 1 and 2, the first was a double episode) was great, episode 2 was a bit crummy, and episode 3 was great again.
Also episode 2 was Kate-centric. This may or may not have something to do with it being a bit crummy.

Personally, I like watching it live because I get to theorize and talk about it with others. But I can see some aspects of this season being more enjoyable on DVD.

Season 4 was the first one I watched live. Waiting for the next episode was painful but rewarding. Maybe I'll watch the final season live too, that finale blew my mind.

I'm not sure if the show will end with the branch closing, though. They already previously milked the fear of that happening in previous seasons (plus this season), so I guess it would be a surprise if it did happen. I'd like to see the show end on a happy note, just for the hell of it. Maybe its because the show is a comedy, I guess.

I am really afraid of what they would do with a baby on the show. I just don't think it will work. Pam and Jim have already been pushed to the limit in terms of their written characters. I still think the show can pull a good episode out every week but it's getting harder and harder for them. I wonder how they would end it on a happy note though. It's already stretched out almost every plot line I can think of. Maybe Michael and Holly reunion? idk.

 Re: The Television Thread
Right now I can't shake this feeling that Jim will end up leaving the branch, and Pam will follow. After the baby is born, probably. Having Michael re-unite with Holly makes the most sense, that's for sure. I wish the show was ending this season, but since its the cornerstone of the NBC Thursday night comedy lineup, I agree that the show will probably drag on for a couple more seasons. Sadly.
